A three-bedroom, three-bathroom corner apartment on the Brooklyn waterfront, with the Manhattan skyline running across two exposures. A view that size sets the terms for every decision after it. The palette answers quietly. Soft neutrals throughout, warm rather than cool, so nothing on the walls competes with what sits outside them. Custom built-ins run through the apartment and carry the work that freestanding furniture would otherwise do, keeping the floors clear and the sightlines open to the glass. The marble pieces were designed and fabricated by KMG Studio, cut for these rooms and no others. In the evening the skyline does what it does. The apartment knows to stay quiet and let it.
