Interior Design in Hoboken

The Penthouse, with its sprawling footprint, NYC skyline backdrop and soaring ceilings, was one of our favorite projects.

The expansive living space created its own challenge in making a cozy and inviting space, without obstructing nearly 180 degrees of NYC skyline through the condo’s massive windows. To achieve a level of coziness, we created moments with several seating areas with low profile furniture as well as adding texture and context to the interior walls. In the center of the room, we created a striking TV wall with sixteen feet of Nero Marquina slabs and dark oak to anchor the entire living room. This accent wall provided a main focal point inside the spacious living room, complementing the beauty of the NYC skyline. On the West side of the room, we anchored the room with a custom floor to ceiling built-in and a combination of old and new furnishings.

Adjacent to the East wall of windows, we designed a dining area that could seat ten as well as a cozy reading space that embraces the striking NY city views. We added beautiful, low-hanging airy chandeliers above the dining area and main living space to add to the coziness to the space while not obstructing the views. A clean, modern and elegant SieMatic kitchen opens to the living room. We combined wood, stone and metal to create an incredibly elegant, yet functional space worthy of a chef!

In the main hallways, we introduced modern crown molding and stunning brass and crystal lighting to connect the beauty of the main living space with the bedrooms. The powder room got an elegant makeover with floor-to-ceiling marble slabs, new lighting and mirrors - creating a clean, dramatic and spacious look.
