Beautiful, single family brownstone with a four story extension receives a total glow-up by KMG Interiors.
Fresh off a gut renovation, this home was a blank canvas. We selected a soft color palette of taupes, grays and whites throughout the home, with pops of colors in greens, blacks and brass metals to give the space a casual, yet sophisticated elegance.
We designed a bespoke, white marble console to pair with a one-of-a-kind artwork in the entrance of the home. For the dining room, we selected a dining table that seats 10+ to accommodate entertaining, complemented by a sexy, dark sparkly wall paper and a stunning crystal chandelier worthy of the space. The green velvet upholstered dining chairs were selected to bring in some color and round out the space’s modern yet timeless feel.
For the eleven foot kitchen island we added an industrial, brass finished lighting overhead and upholstered stools with modern silhouettes. In the family/entertainment space, anchored by a wonderful fireplace, we designed beautiful and functional built-ins and a custom floating brass-finished bar to complete the space. We wrapped the walls in silk-textured wallpaper to add to the coziness of the space.
For the nursery, we used fun starry wallpaper and continued with taupe and beige tones. These colors complement the soft wood tone palette of all furniture. In the master bedroom, we created a spa/resort retreat with soft beiges and taupe colors, while adding brass finishes and amazing crystal chandeliers that evoke timeless elegance.
